2017 Annual City Commission Meeting Dates
Dates for the City of Kingfisher, Kingfisher Public Works Authority (KPWA), Kingfisher Special Projects Authority, Kingfisher Recreation Authority meetings for the year 2016.
All meetings held at 5:30 p.m. at Kingfisher City Hall located at 301 N Main.

The City Commissioners are elected to serve a four year term. Terms for the four Commissioners are staggered in that every year, one of the four Commissioner seats is up for election. Commissioners are term limited to two consecutive terms in office. The Mayor serves a four year term.
The City Commission sets policy for the City, approves the annual budget, and enacts legislation to provide for the safety and welfare of the City.
The elected governing board members of the City Commission also serve as Trustees of the Kingfisher Public Works Authority, Kingfisher Special Projects Authority, and Kingfisher Recreation Authority.
Mayor Steve Richards
City Attorney Jared Harrison administers the oath of office to Mayor Richards
Steve Richards was elected Mayor in February of 2014. Steve has previous service as a City Commissioner, retired volunteer fire-fighter, and has served the community on various boards and committees. Steve was born and raised in Kingfisher. An electrician by trade, Steve owns and operates Glen's Electric with his family. Steve and his wife Myrna enjoy spending time with their family, and running cattle on their ranch.
Wendell Prim Sr
Wendell Prim was sworn into office on April 13, 2015. He is dedicated to Kingfisher and active in the community.
Wendell is employed with Pioneer Telecommunications in Kingfisher and is also Pastor at God's Covenant Church in Kingfisher.
Commissioner Roxie Alexander
Commissioner Roxie Alexander was elected to office in April of 2013. Roxie was born and raised in Kingfisher and takes great pride in representing the community. Commissioner Alexander also serves as Vice-Mayor.
Commissioner Kenneth Davis
Kenneth Davis was elected to office in April of 2014. Kenneth is employed with Pioneer Telecommunications in Kingfisher. Kenneth and his wife Janie also own and operate Coffee Corner in downtown Kingfisher.
Commissioner Tammy Mueggenborg
Tammy was elected to office in June of 2014. She is a lifelong resident of Kingfisher and has raised her family in our community. Tammy and her husband Dennis own and operate Designs by Dennis in downtown Kingfisher. They have been actively involved in restoring historic buildings downtown to add to the charm and warmth of the downtown area, providing an enjoyable shopping experience for residents and visitors.
